Back to School & Scouts Event at TCYC - Sunday, August 26, 2-7 PM.

Our first troop event of the fall will be at TCYC on Sunday afternoon of August 26. The Texas Corinthian Yacht Club is on Galveston Bay near Kemah where we had our campout last April.

At TCYC, Scouts will be able to have:
1. The opportunity to complete Small Boat Sailing, Motorboating, and Fishing Merit Badges. Get those partials finished! (Scouts who are interested in completing Small Boat Sailing need to get in touch with John Geddie by email at john@geddie.org)
2. Scoutmaster Conferences for Tenderfoot through Star, particularly for Scouts who went to summer camp and worked on advancement.
3. Swimming
4. Fun

Directions
Directions to TCYC are on the TCYC.ORG website at http://www.tcyc.org/content/view/17/33/. In case of any emergency, the phone number of the Club is 281-339-1566. Every Scout will need to bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, water bottle or camelback, a PFD (personal flotation device), swimsuit, shoes or sandals that can be immersed in water, and an extra change of dry clothes.

Cooking arrangements will be announced.
