For use in base camp:

Sleeping Bag (medium winter weight, protected down to + 15 degrees)

Rain Gear (rain parka and pants suggested)

Jacket (preferably a Parka w/hood)
Boy Scout Shirt / Explorer Shirt *Cleaning of personal equipment will be
done by individuals in soap &water provided. The use of paper plates and plastic is
discouraged.
For use in Rafting:
Shorts (made of material that dries quickly)
T-shirt (quick drying, I 00% cotton garments not recommended)
Shoes (Tennis or Boat Shoes, best is they do not hold water)
Suggest Polypropylene long underwear suit.
Rain Gear (Lightweight nylon rain suits are excellent), splash jackets, pants.
Hat
Sunglasses (with string to keep from losing them)
Water Bottle (2 quart minimum)
Sun Screen or Block
*There is a possibility you will need a wet suit. Rentals are
available from $8.00 to $12.00 per suit or you can bring your own.
For Use while Backpacking
Pack and Frame (With padded hip-belt, checked and
tested with weight) Make sure that the Pack Fits and it is in good repair!
Sturdy Hiking Boots (Broken In --absolutely no tennis shoes!)
Sandals, tennis shoes or slippers (to change into when not hiking on the trails)
Sleeping Bag rated at +20 degrees or lower
Closed Cell Sleeping Pad
Rain Suits (Nylon)- Ponchos are not recommended!
